Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week begins in NYC the second Thursday of September and it attracts the press from over 30 countries which makes it a major international press event!! All of NYC becomes alive with designers, press, executives and buyers...not to mention the ooohh and awwes from the onlookers! The city is abuzz with runway collections and includes over 250 fashion events in the city. The event was originally created in 1943 and was called "Press Week" to bring worldwide attention for innovative fashion designs.
