The world is changing and I feel like I am changing right along with it. It is a big wave that I have caught with my surfboard and I am riding it for all it is worth!! As the times shift that means your thinking has to shift along with it. Here at Allen's we are starting to add to our inventory for the holidays that are ahead. We realize that this last year has been a challange for many of our customers so I am filling the store with beautiful items that will be just right for every person's situation. I have always wanted to showcase more of my own creations and I have begun to do that this past year with some of the inventory. As the holiday approaches you will begin to see more and more of my creations to tempt you. ALL with in a very reasonable sticker. WE will have NO sticker shock here....only GOOD sticker shocks! The quality of our merchandise will stay high and believe me with alot of the merchants going to China that can be a hard thing to find. I find that the jewelry that is manufactured in China or the Orient is often lighter in weight because they have skimped on the amount of gold they use. Or, they have used the same mold over and over again....this leaves very little metal to hold the gemstones in the mounting. I choose my jewelry with a very critical eye and am very careful to have quality pieces. This year you will begin to see some unique designs in sterling silver, gold filled and pewter along side the absolutely stunning 18kt and 14kt items. For those who want to give their loved one a unique design but they have a little less to spend....the less expensive metals are an answer for them.
